SEX SEX SEX
I think we need a sex poll. Help me out here guys. If you are in a committed relationship, of any sort, please leave your age, length of relationship, and how many times per week you have sex :) Sex is an interesting topic... Did you know one of the best indicators of how strong your relationship is, is your sex life? Do you agree or disagree w/ that statement? I suppose to be fair, I have to go first. Depends on the week, some are more active than others, w/ an occasional lapse of no more than a week, and I've been married for 6 years.... And I do agree that its a good indicator of where you relationship stands. Because if your not having sex, something is wrong. And I don't mean the occasional lapse, but like you never do it on a regular basis. Help me out... I'm curious what happens in other peoples hectic lives, and how often you're getting some :)

i think it's a pretty good indicator of how close i'm feeling to the hubby....but sometimes it's just an indicator of being tired or whatever. i do tend to have more sex when i'm stressed, though. good tension reliever :) we've been married 10 years+, and i would say the average is about 2x a week. sometimes more, sometimes less.
me and hubby have been married just over 3 years. in the past 2 months we have done something only a few times cuz of one of us being sick (one after the other)...then my surgery on my knee.
wtihout all that...i would say we do "something" about 2 x's a week....like jodee says...sometimes more sometimes less....depends.
alright, I just wandered over here from Mel's page...38 not in a relationship, but committed to finding one, and having sex in it as often as possible...
btw, I love your 1/2 full philosophy...makes life mo betta!!
1 yr..approx 4-6 times a week..depending on our schedules. But, I think you know this... We are both very sexual people though.
The old one..8yrs..2-3 times a week.
Interesting topic...I'm 34, married for almost 11 years and have three kids - 2, 4 and 6. My better half is deployed right now, he's a Lt. in the Navy but when he's home we probably average about once a week. I know this sounds shabby but we've been together for 15 years and most nights I am just too tired to think much less do anything else that is more strenuous. But I love him like crazy and I'm sure things will pick up when he returns in March!
we are 27, 32 and 32...
together for almost 2 years...
and because i keep track of this kind of thing (that way no one can say "its been weeks") then i checked my blog...lol...in the last 18 weeks, we averaged 3.2 times per week...however, some weeks it was once, and others it was six...
it was cool to go back and check it out... :)

anonymous- I hear you on the tired thing.Did you know that on man vs woman todo list. Man #1:sex Woman #14 Sex (oh and that falls after gardening...) If your feeling sleepy- sex is out for lots of women, especially moms for some reason.
monkey- Sounds like a healthy sex life to me. Good idea keeping track, btw, I like that idea..
37 - 2nd marriage is just shy of 3 years now and 3-4x a week average. Starter marriage that ended 5 years ago - about 8 years in we were down to 2x a year towards the end.
And your "depends on the week" answer is, well, weak. We want hard, fast numbers, please. Enquiring minds want to know.

alright alright. I'm w/ the 2x a week crew. But,I'm going to do an experiment... I'd like to increase our average... I'll post more about this later. And btw, good for you!
sweet jane- so far, you fall in the "above average" catogory. Sounds good to me. I think everyone could use a boost in thier average. I'm going to blog more about that later this week. I've been reading.... got some ideas :)
my wife is pregnant AND we are living with our inlaws at the moment......I don't even want to give you our dismal number.
We are very very happy though....and have been for the past six years

Ladies, any thoughts on why the missus won't kiss me? We haven't kissed in years. She a strange one, only wants sex, no lovemaking. It wasn't always this way.
My wife and I have been married for almost two and a half years. We both work full time jobs and we have two kids, we'll their my kids, but we have primary custody of them. We obviously have a very busy life, but we still manage to knock it out 2 to 3 times a week.

mitch/mike- that's weird.. you'd think she'd be up for it. what does she say when you ask her about it? How's your breath? I think sometimes I'd rather skip foreplay, but that's only if I'm tired, I think I'd get pissed w/o it.
